Quick Corn Bread

Description
Corn bread is a Cajun favorite and this recipe is quick and delicious. Maw maw used to make corn bread and corn fritters with garlic and this is a twist.
What you need

1 9" x 9" glass baking dish
1 small mixing bowl
1 1 cup measuring cup
1 mixing spoon
1 paring knife knife

Ingredients

1 package of Jiffy corn muffin mix
1 egg
1/3 cup of milk
4 cloves garlic sliced thin

What you need to do

In small mixing bowl put the contents of Jiffy corn muffin mix. Measure 1/3 cup of milk in measuring cup and break egg into it. Mix egg with milk and pour into mixing bowl along with the sliced garlic. Mix thoroughly. Let sit for three or four minutes.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease the 9" x 9" baking dish well with butter or margarine. Pour mixture into baking dish and put in oven. Bake 20 to 25 minutes for best results. Remove and cool. Cut cornbread across the center then cut equdistance on both sides of center cut. Turn dish and repeat the proccess until you have 16 squares of corn bread. Remove to serving dish.
