What you'll need
1 12" cast iron skillet
1 large stainless steel spatula
1 large stainless steel strainer
1 large cooking knife
1 large mixing bowlIngredients
4 boneless chicken breasts butter flied
1 cup Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning or Louisiana Cajun seasoning
Crisco All-Vegetable ShorteningWhat you need to do
Cut chicken breasts into 3/4" strips. Put about a cup of seaoning in large mixing bowl. Put chicken strips into bowl and coat well with seasoning.
Over medium heat, melt about 1/8" shortening into skillet. Fry chicken until golden brown on one side then turn and cook the other side. Remove to strainer and shake. Let sit for about 2 minutes and remove to serving dish.
Serves 6 to 8
